Marketing and Client Services Manager
For four years Susan planned, directed and implemented firm-wide, practice group-specific and individual attorney marketing initiatives for 90+ attorneys in 27 practice areas in three Northern California offices. Her responsibilities included direct sales (proposals), advertising, community relations/sponsorships, attorney speaking engagements, and media relations.

Account service/management positions in three “Top 25” Sacramento PR agencies:
• The Thacker Group (specialized food, wine and flowers PR)
• Crocker/Flanagan (marketing/advertising/public relations)
• Karen Bakula & Company (public relations and event planning)

At these agencies Susan managed media and public outreach programs for diverse clientele, including industry associations, professional services, government, retail, financial services, consumer products, entertainment, food and beverage.

Watson Wyatt Worldwide
Susan spent five happy years as marketing communications manager for the New England regional center of a large international human resources and employee benefits consulting firm. This position involved supporting nine consulting practices in a 200+ staff office.

She gained account service, and corporate communication and copywriting experience in Boston-based advertising agencies, “talking” Yellow Pages Company and TAD Technical Services Corp., (a nationwide contract employment services firm).
